Ritual boat race to honor the sea god and pray for safe sailing.
Naha Hārī is the biggest Dragon boat festival in Okinawa.
The first day is devoted to the Junior High School tournament, while the second is for visitors to ride the boats. Adult team races take place on the third day, ending with the ritual ugan-bārī and the main race hon-bārī.
Apart from the boat racing, festival goers can also enjoy live music and comedy shows at one of the two outdoor stages. Each day will end with a firework over the wharf.
