Yogi Park

Yogi Park is a place where locals like to take a break, and many visit to see the natural beauty of the park. One corner of the park has an old steam engine that has been preserved. This, along with play structures, make the park a great place for families. On the opposite corner is the Naha City Library, and the park is within walking distance of all of Kokusai and Heiwa Streets’ shops. Also, each year there is the Naha Sakura Festival coinciding with the blooming of the cherry blossoms at the park. Many people enjoy coming to the park to gaze at the cherry blossoms during this season. Throughout the year, various other events are also held.

It is 1700m (1 mile) from the Prefectural office. This is a 20-minute walk, so using the buses or monorail is recommended.
