An Okinawan tavern located about a 5-minute walk from Kencho-mae Station on the Yui Rail. "Grandma Mitsuko" is the mother-in-law of the owner, who lives in Nakijin Village and is an excellent cook.
We serve home-style dishes using Okinawan ingredients such as rare purebred Nakijin Agu pork, and octopus from Kouri Island. Our "sanmainiku" (braised pork belly), made with Nakijin Village's awamori, is recommended as an accompaniment to alcohol. Our 400-gram "jumbo steak" is also a splendid dish and a must for meat lovers. And we have a wide selection of awamori to match the dishes, mainly from distilleries in Yanbaru (north of the main island). The restaurant is decorated in the style of an traditional house, with private rooms, acrylic panels, face-to-face shields, and alcohol disinfection and temperature check upon entry, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal safely.
