Each December, an annual marathon is held. Roughly 30,000 contestants run through five southern cities and towns on Okinawa island.
The application for the race typically opens in early July and fills up quickly, so please be sure to register promptly if you are interested in participating. Please see the NAHA Marathon website for more details.
